iPad tablet like the iPad (IOS) and Android is now on the rise. Soon Windows-based tablets will also appear on the market. Rather than using it just for the toys, let's use it as a tool to make presentations. Neither do presentations for lectures, seminars or displays of ideas and your ideas to the client. I try to present tips and how to make a presentation using the iPad. In addition to iPad, iPhone can also be used to make a presentation. But not all iPhone, iPhone only 4 and 4S can be used to make a presentation.
First, Make sure that the iPad / iPhone is the right tool to make presentations. If the presentation is not too much of an audience, the room is not too large is one example that the iPad / iPhone is the right tool. If you will do a demo of a system / application then the iPad / iPhone is not the right tool. A large room such as a conference and require that you use the remote for the presentation and move from one application to another, the iPad / iPhone is also not the right tool.
Second, Prepare a presentation using a desktop computer, because it will be more flexible and better prepared than directly on the iPad / iPhone. Editing directly only to things as simple as typing errors or typo.
Third, the KISS (keep it simple stupid), make it as simple as possible and do not use transitions and animations are exaggerated. Remember the iPad will not show up. In fact there is likely to fail or get stuck in the middle of the road.
Fourth, do the preparation and training prior to presentation to try out your presentation will go well. Directly piloted using a projector.
Fifth, to avoid unwanted things, prepare another plan (plan b), such as setting up a presentation using a flash disk files with different formats (pdf and ppt).
The next question is what application you can do to make a presentation? Remember that not all applications in the iPad / iPhone can be forwarded to the projector as a computer / notebook. iPad iPhone 1 and 4 only show the presentation using a specific application, such as Keynote and Video. Fortunately, the iPad 2 and newly launched iPad is the 3rd generation as well as on the iPhone already supports mirroring 4S. This means that what is shown on the iPad also be directly displayed on the screen to-2 (projector or television).
To make a presentation, you need an additional tool that is a converter to serve on the 2nd screen (projector or television). There are two types of tools, namely converters RGB and HDMI converters. Make sure the tools to make a presentation (projector or television) to support the converter you use. RGB converter just move the screen, move the screen in addition to HDMI converter also transfer the sound (audio).
To make a presentation on the iPad / iPhone, my choice is the Keynote application and 2Screens. While the converter should use a HDMI converter because it supports high resolution.
Keynote is a presentation of the Apple applications and can be read keynote file (. Key) and PowerPoint (. Ppt). Unlike a presentation using Keynote on a computer / notebook that can use the remote, the application can not use the iPad Keynote remote.
2Screens can read a variety of image files, documents and presentations (. Key. Ppt. Pdf. Jpg, etc.). The advantages of 2Screens is able to use the remote to make a presentation. Remote applications can be installed on the iPod touch or iPhone.
In addition to these two applications, to make a presentation can also use Pages, Numbers, or Video. To display the web page can use Webout.
