IPhone Tips and tricks

Some tips and tricks that are important / useful for beginners.

A. Activate the Caps Lock & Off the Keyboard Auto Correction:

To activate the Caps Lock choose Settings> General> Keyboard & Slide "Enable Caps Lock" to "ON".

To enable Keyboard Auto Correction select Settings> General> Keyboard & slide "Auto Correction" ON "

2. Scroll to the top of the page in Safari:
To direct me to the top of the scroll on a web page, press the "top bar" (which has the battery, time and network). It also works in all applications, not only in Safari.

3. Domain suffix:
To change the domain suffix when in Safari, hold down the ". com "to transform into the". net,. edu,. org ".

4. Soft Reset:
Press and hold the home button and sleep to reset your iPhone.

5. Taking a Screenshot:
To take a screenshot, hold the home button and sleep button. The screen will be stored in the camera roll.

6. Point:
When typing on the iPhone, simply press the space bar twice and it will insert a period after the word and also add a space so you can continue typing.

7. Making a call from Safari:
If you are looking for a phone number you wish to call, when you are in Safari, you do not need to switch to the phone application, you can simply dial the number and the iPhone will immediately dial the number.

8. Quick access to the iPod while in the Application or On Screen Lock:
If you listen to music while opening the web or using other applications, you may need to access the iPod controls without having to stop your application. You simply press the home button twice to open the iPod controls on the applications you use. You can also use this screen when you are still in the locked state so that you can use the iPod without having to unlock your iPhone.

10. Operate a "Clicker" on your iPhone headphones:
Mic on your headphones also works as a remote that can do various things. To receive a call, press once to answer, press again to end the call and send calls to voicemail.

Using Clicker in the iPod app ... press once to pause for a song, press again to continue the song, and press twice to skip to the next song.
